DescriptionA very large Green Moray Eel at Forest on Klein Bonaire.
Eels are usually seen opening and closing their mouth. This is how they breath, and is not a threatening action. In fact, when approached, eels usually retreat into a recess. At night, they can be found in the open as they forage for food. |
